Hi there!
Today, I’m introducing the “Gap Control” feature in Supertone Play’s TTS tool.
If you’re an audiobook creator, YouTube Shorts editor, or short-form content maker,
this essential feature can make your workflow much faster.
Supertone Play’s Gap Control lets you adjust the word gaps and sentence gaps
in your TTS-generated audio to suit your style.
It appears only when you download TTS audio
and works differently depending on the save mode:
By default, word gaps are set to 100%, meaning the original speaking speed.
The top example is at 100%, the bottom at 20%.
See the speed difference?
This lets you create at the desired speed without extra audio editing.
Before, saving multiple lines in one file made audio flow
with no breathing space, making it hard to edit or follow.
Now, you can set your own breathing space between lines.
Looking at the image, you can see that in the upper audio,
it's difficult to tell where the next line begins,
but the lower image shows audio downloaded
with a 3-second interval between sentences.
With this 3-second spacing,
it becomes much clearer to identify where each line begins and ends.
📚 For audiobooks, explanatory content,
and other formats with multiple consecutive sentences,
setting appropriate spacing improves listening quality
and makes line-by-line editing much easier.
Gap Control lets you reduce editing time, improve listening quality,
and boost your final output all at once.
It’s a must-have for TTS-based projects like audiobooks, ads, Shorts, and more.
Available in the Supertone Play Creator plan and above.
We’ll keep updating Supertone Play to enhance TTS features
and make AI voice production even more convenient.
