Supertone 2025 Recap

January 7, 2026

When Voice AI Became Part of Real Creation

2025 was a meaningful year for Supertone.

With a complete product lineup in place, we focused on building for scale—and on getting closer to users through a product-driven approach.

As a result, Supertone’s voice technology began to show up more naturally in real creative workflows around the world.

Expanding Voice, Globally

Sona Speech 2 is our most advanced TTS model, supporting 23 languages.

It captures subtle details like emotion, breath, and expression—making speech feel more human and more usable in real projects.

Across Supertone Play and our API, users can now choose between Supertonic and Sona Speech 2 depending on what their content needs most.

Supertonic, our on-device ultra-fast TTS model, runs without server GPUs and sets a new benchmark for efficiency.

Its rapid adoption—including #1 in Hugging Face’s TTS category and inclusion in Transformers.js—

validated our developer-first approach.

Built with Creators in Mind

Launched this year, Supertone Play grew into a creator-focused TTS platform used in over 217 countries.

With multilingual voice cloning and intuitive editing tools—shaped directly by user feedback—

Play reached 310K cumulative users and generated 6.2M sentences by December.

Supertone Shift 2.0, our real-time voice changer, expanded beyond gaming and streaming into broader creator workflows, with particularly strong engagement in Japan.

Where Technology Meets Craft

This year, we collaborated with leading voice actors—including Jeong Jae-heon and Shin Kyungsun—to co-create voice characters with real performance and emotional depth.

We also worked with Big Ocean, the world’s first deaf K-pop idol group, using voice technology to support clearer expression while preserving each artist’s unique identity.

These moments clearly reflect what we believe in: voice technology that respects identity and supports expression.

Scaling with the Industry

In partnership with AWS, Supertone’s voice AI moved into global production environments.

At AWS Summit Seoul 2025, our AI dubbing powered live keynote sessions, and Supertone Play was officially listed on AWS Marketplace.

Through the K-FAST AI Dubbing Project, we also helped expand Korean content across 22 countries, enabling immersive, emotion-preserving AI dubbing at scale.

Looking Ahead

2025 was the year Supertone’s technology truly moved from experimentation into everyday creation.

What we learned—by listening closely to creators, developers, and partners—will shape what comes next.

We’ll keep building, so voice feels easier, more natural, and more accessible for the stories people want to tell.
